Position Details:

We are urgently hiring for the position of Welfare Officer (Asst. Manager) for a Fortune 500 Automotive Parts manufacturing client (Swedish MNC) in Mysuru.

Qualification: MSW (Must)

Experience: Around 8 - 15 years of experience in Union Management, Labour Laws, IR, Factory Acts, LTS, Plant HR Control from Manufacturing Industries.

Job Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day Activities:

- Understand and establish priorities for the department to meet the current and future requirements of the organization and internal customer.

- Manage day to day activities in the existing system such as Canteen, Transportation, Medical and workmen uniforms, shoes, etc.

- Hiring, on boarding, deploy to their jobs locally and train the people to be effective in achieving end deliverables.

- Plan, follow up on day by day, week by week, and month by month reviews.

- Co-ordinating for implementation of all Corporate HR policies and guidelines effectively.

- Ensure all HR practices are carried out as per Legal, Ethical and Business conduct guidelines.

- Initiate, track, and ensure effective execution of new HR practices to attract and retain talent all time.

- Administer all facility related requirements and ensure all stake holders within and outside the company are involved, informed, effectively keep up the facility in terms, adequate and appropriateness of space, 5S maintenance etc.

- Initiate and drive desired change in HR Practices from time to time to stay ahead of competition to attract and retain talent.

- Hands-on experience in dealing with employees grievances is must.

- Time management functions including overtime, late coming and early going hours.

- Generating daily, monthly reports related to short logins, late coming, absenteeism etc.

Communicate Actively:

- Run the ongoing HR agenda and communicate policies and procedures and flag critical issues that need additional support to Plant HR.

- Communicate and cooperate with Peers like Finance and other HR team and Plant HR vertical heads, as needed.

- Take responsibility for cascading communication and provide constant feedback on the effectiveness of cascading process.

- Active communication with the internal customers ensures long-term relationships are built and sustained.

Performance management:

- Educate and Administer Performance Development Dialogue for associates in the Plant to align employee aspiration and business challenges.

- Provide input data for regional and global functions and follow up on monthly controlling reports as provided or as required.

- Participate in and lead projects on performance improvement of Plant HR function at subregion level and effectively deploy policy deployment.

Continuous improvement:

- Responsible for the implementation and providing feedback for improving HR practices and policies of the company.

- Involvement in Kaizen events, Improvement workshops, 5S Audits and other system Audits as per Company standards.

- Ensure all applicable standards viz, Safety Standards - ISO 14001, Environmental standards - 45001, Quality Standards - IATF 16949 requirements are adhered.
