About This Role: We are looking for an experienced sales leader to join the Walmart Business leadership team, reporting to the SVP and GM. In addition to heading all sales activities, you will be jointly responsible for the overall success of the business and the health of the Walmart Business team and culture. You will have exposure to and involvement in all aspects of building, growing, operating, and maturing a new business. The main priorities for this role for the next year will be to build a sales organization and deliver growth for Walmart Business. What You'll Do : You will lead the build, maturation and operation of the full range of sales capabilities required to grow Walmart Business in higher touch segments. You will lead across "horizontal" functions of lead management, sales and account management, and "vertical" segments of businesses, nonprofits and public sector. You will make decisions about sales strategy, organization structure, sales approach, and be accountable for financial performance of sales and account management activities. You will oversee an internal team as well as external contactors who may play a role in different stages of our sales process. You'll Make An Impact As You : - Build the right team and approach to create and manage, qualify, and nurture leads. - Lead the sales process and cycle; identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks. - Deliver sales-led revenue consistent with industry-benchmark revenue per salesperson. - Deliver account management-led customer retention and account expansion consistent with industry-benchmarks. - Develop comprehensive plans to achieve sales targets. - Establish sales operations, including CRM, other tools, goals and reporting, etc.-with emphasis on pipeline visibility and revenue predictability. - Establish sales enablement to equip salespeople with the right training, resources, collateral, etc. to close deals. - Establish processes and handoffs between marketing and sales, and sales and account management.- Create and manage a high-performing team. - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with peers in Walmart Business as well as across the enterprise. Minimum Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree - 15-20 years' experience in sales and account management, with a significant portion of that in sales leadership roles, building, managing and motivating sales teams Preferred Qualifications : - MBA - Experience in both inside sales and outside sales, and both mid-market and enterprise sales - Experience in sales operations and/or sales enablement - Experience in marketing
