Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with strong experience in the Microsoft ecosystem and solution selling.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, positioning, and closing complex IT solutions built on Microsoft technologies.
This role requires a consultative approach, deep understanding of client business needs, and the ability to map them to scalable Microsoft-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the Microsoft solutions portfolio
- Identify new business opportunities across enterprise and mid-market segments
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting
Solution Selling & Client Engagement
- Engage with CXOs, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to understand their business challenges
- Position Microsoft-based solutions such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform as value-driven offerings
- Lead end-to-end solution sales cycles including discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closure
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and partners
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers by aligning technology solutions with business outcomes
- Drive account growth through cross-selling and upselling opportunities
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design customized solutions
- Collaborate with Microsoft partner ecosystem and internal teams to strengthen go-to-market strategies
- Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns, events, and lead generation initiatives
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis
- Stay updated with Microsoft product updates, licensing models, and industry trends
- Analyze competitor offerings and refine sales strategies accordingly
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in IT sales with a strong focus on solution selling
- Proven track record of selling Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, or Power Platform
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, digital transformation, and enterprise IT landscape
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Microsoft partners or within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Familiarity with licensing models, cloud migration, and managed services
- MBA or equivalent qualification in Sales/Marketing is a plus
