Position: Business Development, Engineering Services
We are seeking seasoned Business Development Managers with experience as listed below to
spearhead our customer footprint across the USA.
Bay Area, Engineering Services: 10 to 12 years' experience in selling product engineering
services, and software services - multiple positions
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Networking & Wi-Fi, and Adaptive Compute & Communications industries.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, technology
partners, and ecosystem players.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Achieve revenue and margin growth targets. Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from
prospecting to closure, including proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across VVDN's services and products offerings.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of
satisfaction and loyalty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Partner with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to align on client
requirements and deliverables.
- Act as the voice of the customer to drive innovations and improvements in VVDN's
solutions.
Market Intelligence and Strategy:
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market demands to provide
actionable insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine solutions and offerings based on client needs
and market feedback.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business administration, or a related field. A master's
degree (MBA) is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in business development/ sales, in selling to the Networking &
Wi-Fi, and Adaptive Compute & Communications industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong
network of customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results. Willingness
to travel within the USA as required.
