ROLE PURPOSE:  Performs essential functions like increase in new acquisitions, revenue generation, retaining existing customers, carry out prepaid and postpaid activities like offering new schemes, adding new product features etc. The job role also requires maintaining continuous interaction with market research agencies, advertisement agencies, vendors, tele-calling agencies, handset vendors, government agencies, suppliers and other consumer organizations to meet various requirements. Also coordinates with different departments to formulate new tariff plans, change existing ones, addition of new products & services, meet legal requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.  Key Accountabilities:  - Provides marketing support to ensure marketing support activities  - Coordinates with marketing research agencies and different Vodafone circles to conduct competitor analysis, understand consumer behavior, test satisfaction with brand, profile customers, test new communication etc.  - Targets specific customer segments like corporates etc. and promotes product features through events, contests, road shows etc.  - Ensures high revenue generation by attracting new customers and retaining the present ones by keeping the churn under control.  - Coordinates with IS team and Value Added Services (VAS) team to plan new tariffs, new products & services, changes like physical packaging etc.  - Carries out all Postpaid and Prepaid activities like offering new schemes, costing, customer promotions, launching new products & services and modifying the current ones to increase acquisitions.  - Coordinates with the Brand Manager to develop communication in terms of advertisements, outdoor & inshop merchandising, promotions to promote the brand and announce a new feature of tariff.  - Interacts indirectly with various governmental agencies like TRAI to meet various requirements related to launch of new products and services.  - Coordinates with the sales department to take inputs on customer feedback, communicate it to the senior management and designing new products & services based on the customer feedback  TYPICAL OUTPUTS  - Increase in customer base by new acquisitions.  - Increased Revenue generation by getting customers through innovative offers and effective costing measures.  - Retention of prepaid and postpaid customers by offering new schemes, tariff plans, promos, customer service etc.  Desired Candidate Profile:   - MBA in marketing from a reputed management institute.  - Minimum 7-8 years of work experience, preferably with telecom industry experience.  - Good coordination skills.  - Innovative.  - Excellent communication skills.  - Good negotiation and Persuasion skills.  - Excellent networking skills.  - Customer centric attitude.
