Become a Villgro Fellow!  - The Villgro Fellowship is looking for professionals to work in a leadership role with a social enterprise in India.   - The Fellowship is a one-year leadership development programme designed for professionals who seek a career that is challenging and creates social impact. Through classroom sessions, field trips, hands-on mentoring, training, and a close working relationship with a social entrepreneur, it offers a first-hand feel of what it takes to build a social enterprise.  Here is what we look for in our Fellows:  - Work experience of at least three years in one or more of these functional areas: operations, finance, sales, marketing, business development, human resources, design, IT, strategic planning.  - Passion and commitment to apply skills and knowledge to create social impact.  - Curiosity to explore social enterprise.  - Experience with leadership and management functions  Through our application and interview process, we assess our applicants' attributes and qualities.  What we value:  - A demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles and take initiative to get the job done independently.  - Clarity of thought and ability to articulate concisely.  - A thirst for knowledge and a penchant for constant discovery.  - Ability to empathise with the specific challenges of the people and enterprises working with the poor.  - Ability to work in a team and build networks.  The selection process for the Villgro Fellowship is rigorous so we can find passionate and committed leaders of tomorrow.
