Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Vice President - R2R Tower Lead to lead and scale global Record to Report (R2R) operations while overseeing strategic alignment with Procure to Pay (P2P) processes for large enterprise accounts. This leadership role will focus on driving operational excellence, transformation initiatives, governance, and stakeholder engagement across global finance operations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in finance and accounting operations, shared services delivery, transformation programs, and executive-level stakeholder management, along with the ability to lead large global teams and drive process improvements across complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Global R2R Operations Leadership:
- Lead and manage large global Finance & Accounting teams across the Record to Report (R2R) function.
- Drive end-to-end service delivery ensuring operational excellence and adherence to global standards.
- Oversee core R2R processes including General Ledger, Intercompany Accounting, Fixed Assets, Reconciliations, and Financial Close activities.
Financial Close & Reporting:
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Operational Excellence & Transformation:
- Drive process transformation, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization programs across finance operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, digital transformation, and efficiency enhancements.
- Implement best practices to improve service delivery and operational performance.
Service Delivery & P&L Ownership:
- Own the P&L for the R2R tower while ensuring high-quality service delivery for enterprise clients.
- Monitor operational performance through defined KPIs, SLAs, and governance frameworks.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships with global stakeholders.
- Partner with internal leadership teams to align finance operations with strategic business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on finance transformation and operational strategy.
Solutioning & Transitions:
- Support new deal solutioning, client transitions, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Lead transition planning and execution for new processes or client engagements.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead and mentor large global teams, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Drive leadership development, succession planning, and capability building within the organization.
Required Profile:
- 18-26 years of experience in Record to Report (R2R) operations within a services or shared services environment.
- Strong expertise across Finance & Accounting processes, financial close, and reporting operations.
- Proven experience leading large global teams and managing enterprise-scale operations.
- Demonstrated experience driving transformation, automation, and ERP optimization initiatives.
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive presence, with experience engaging global clients and leadership teams.
