Role Overview:
The VP/SVP Global B2B Sales will be responsible for defining and driving the global sales strategy for the Market Intelligence & Research vertical. The candidate will build C-suite relationships, manage enterprise-level sales cycles, and lead a consultative, value-based sales approach targeting large corporations, research buyers, and strategic consulting organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the global B2B sales strategy across the US, Europe, APAC, and Middle East markets.
- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing global sales team with regional ownership.
- Identify new business opportunities in target sectors and geographies; build and execute GTM plans.
- Lead complex consultative sales cycles with senior decision-makers (CXOs, Strategy Heads, Research Leads).
- Drive revenue generation through direct sales, strategic partnerships, and channel alliances.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, positioning, and demand generation campaigns.
- Develop client-specific value propositions and customize research offerings for maximum impact.
- Manage and expand key accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and relationship-building.
- Deliver accurate forecasts, track pipeline health, and report key sales metrics to leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activity, and client intelligence needs.
- Represent the company at global conferences, webinars, and client meetings.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven success (15+ years) in B2B enterprise sales, preferably in market intelligence, research, data analytics, consulting, or SaaS.
- Deep understanding of research and insight-led selling, with a solutions mindset.
- Excellent sales planning, pipeline management, and deal-closing capabilities.
- Ability to engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is required.
- MBA or equivalent from a reputed institute is strongly preferred.
