Role Overview:

This VP/SVP position offers a unique opportunity to be a key financial leader within a dynamic and rapidly growing real estate organization. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations for a significant portion of the company's portfolio.


You will collaborate closely with project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders to ensure sound financial planning, reporting, and control. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving strategic financial decisions and supporting the company's continued success in the competitive South Indian real estate landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.

- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing accurate and timely insights to senior management.

- Manage the budgeting process, working with various departments to develop realistic and achievable financial plans.

- Lead financial planning and analysis activities, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements, mitigating financial risks.

- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions, securing funding for projects and managing debt effectively.

- Provide financial leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring projects are financially viable and delivered within budget.

- Conduct thorough financial analysis of potential investments and acquisitions, providing recommendations to senior management.

- Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors and other stakeholders, communicating financial performance and key trends.

- Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a finance function within a large, complex organization, preferably in the real estate industry.

- Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

- Deep understanding of the South Indian real estate market, including its unique challenges and opportunities.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing finance team.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
