As the Vice President of Payroll, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Strategizing, leading, and supervising end-to-end payroll operations for employees across regions.

2. Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international payroll laws and regulations.

3. Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and system improvements to optimize payroll processes. Managing payroll audits, tax filings, employee benefits, and resolving escalated issues efficiently.

4. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance, IT, and legal teams, to align payroll strategies with organizational goals. Driving automation and innovation in payroll systems for operational efficiency.

5. Leading, mentoring, and upskilling a high-performing payroll team. Acting as a subject matter expert for strategy discussions at a senior leadership level.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you need to bring:

1. Minimum 15+ years of experience in payroll management with a proven track record of leading large-scale payroll teams.

2. Strong knowledge of payroll software(Workday preferred), compliance regulations, and tax laws.

3. Exceptional leadership skills with experience in driving process optimization and team development.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

5. Exposure to global payroll processes and multi-country compliance frameworks is an added advantage.
