A leading Real Estate Company is looking for an experienced Legal Manager Litigation & Transactions to join its legal team in Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle end-to-end legal matters related to real estate projects, including litigation, transactions, and regulatory compliance.

- Manage civil, consumer, arbitration, and property-related litigation matters.

- Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and regulatory authorities.

- Draft, review, negotiate, and vet various legal documents, including agreements, contracts, deeds, MOUs, lease agreements, development agreements, and conveyance deeds.

- Provide legal support for land acquisition, due diligence, title verification, and property transactions.

- Represent the organization in legal proceedings and ensure timely case management.

- Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws, RERA regulations, and statutory requirements.

- Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and mitigation strategies related to business transactions.

- Monitor legal developments and provide proactive recommendations to management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.

- Minimum 12+ years of experience in Real Estate Litigation and Legal Transactions.

- Strong exposure to property laws, land acquisition, title due diligence, contract management, and dispute resolution.

- Hands-on experience in handling litigation matters before courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities.

- Sound knowledge of RERA, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Act, Registration Act, Stamp Duty, and other applicable real estate regulations.

- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters simultaneously.
