Vice President - Investment Banking - Consumer Sector

Role Overview:

- We are seeking a seasoned Investment Banking professional to lead our Consumer sector practice.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deal execution, client relationship management, sector coverage, and business development within the consumer ecosystem.

- This role requires strong financial expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to independently manage transactions from origination through closure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently lead and execute transactions across M&A, private equity, venture capital, strategic fundraising, and related advisory mandates within the Consumer sector.

- Manage end-to-end transaction execution including investor outreach, pitches, negotiations, due diligence, - documentation, and successful deal closure.

- Coordinate with legal advisors, consultants, investors, and clients to finalize definitive agreements and ensure seamless execution.

- Drive transaction processes while managing multiple stakeholders and timelines effectively.

- Develop and review complex financial models and valuation analyses for transactions across the Consumer sector.

- Analyze key commercial and financial terms and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

- Prepare high-quality pitch books, investment memoranda, and transaction presentations.

- Manage day-to-day client interactions with strong attention to detail and delivery excellence.

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporates, founders, investors, and strategic partners.

- Deliver superior quality advisory services and transaction support.

- Lead Consumer sector coverage and drive origination of new business opportunities.

- Develop deep sector insights, track market trends, and identify strategic opportunities for clients.

- Leverage strong networks within the VC and PE ecosystem in India and overseas.

- Contribute to the firm's growth by building a robust pipeline of mandates.

- Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure continuous learning and professional development.

- Review team outputs and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

Qualification:

- MBA / CA or equivalent qualification

- Strong academic credentials preferred
