Hiring - VP Legal (Head of Legal Function) We are seeking a seasoned and strategic legal leader to head the Legal function at the Vice President level. This role will be responsible for driving the organization's legal strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and partnering closely with leadership to enable sustainable business growth. Location: Chennai Reporting To: Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Industry : IT Services or Product Companies only (Must have) Key Responsibilities: - Lead and oversee the overall Legal function across the organization - Advise senior leadership on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters - Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and strategic agreements - Manage litigation matters and coordinate with external legal counsel - Ensure adherence to corporate governance and regulatory requirements - Develop and implement robust governance policies and legal frameworks Key Requirements: - LLB/LLM from a recognized university - 10+ years of experience, with strong exposure to corporate legal leadership roles - In-depth expertise in Indian corporate and commercial laws - Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
