Position Overview:
The Finance Director will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving the company's financial strategy, governance, operational excellence, and long-term value creation. The role will oversee all aspects of finance, including financial planning and analysis, manufacturing finance, treasury, compliance, risk management, business partnering, M&A, restructuring initiatives, and IPO readiness.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience within the FMCG, personal care, cosmetics, or consumer products manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of supporting high-growth businesses, optimizing profitability, and leading strategic transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Finance & Business Leadership:
- Develop and execute the organization's financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and executive leadership team.
- Drive sustainable growth, profitability enhancement, and shareholder value creation.
- Support strategic initiatives including market expansion, new product launches, manufacturing expansion, and capital investments.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
- Develop robust financial models and scenario analyses to support business growth.
- Monitor organizational performance against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct profitability analysis across products, channels, customers, and business units.
- Deliver actionable business insights to improve operational and commercial performance.
Corporate Finance, M&A & Strategic Investments:
- Lead financial evaluation, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
- Assess inorganic growth opportunities aligned with the company's long-term strategy.
- Develop investment cases, financial models, and acquisition analyses.
- Manage post-acquisition integration activities and synergy realization.
- Collaborate with legal, tax, operational, and external advisory teams during transactions.
Business Restructuring & Transformation:
- Lead restructuring and transformation initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and profitability.
- Drive finance transformation projects, including ERP implementations, process automation, and digital finance initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for organizational optimization and cost rationalization.
- Support business turnaround and performance improvement programs.
IPO Readiness & Capital Markets:
- Lead IPO readiness planning and execution initiatives.
- Establish public-company-grade financial reporting, governance, compliance, and internal control frameworks.
- Coordinate with investment bankers, auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee preparation of prospectuses, financial disclosures, investor presentations, and regulatory filings.
- Support investor relations activities and engagement with shareholders and analysts.
- Evaluate capital-raising opportunities, including debt, private equity, and public market funding.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- MBA (Finance) or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience:
- 15 + years of progressive finance experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Proven experience in Personal Care, Cosmetics, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Strong expertise in manufacturing finance, costing, supply chain finance, and business partnering.
- Experience in M&A transactions, restructuring programs, and capital market initiatives preferred.
- Exposure to IPO preparation and public company reporting will be an added advantage.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent systems.
