About the Company:

Were looking for a VP Finance who will become the senior finance leader here, reporting directly to the Co-Founder & CFO and responsible for managing the entire finance function across the organization.

This is not a traditional finance operations role.

This is a high-ownership finance leadership role where you will work closely with the leadership team to drive financial strategy, treasury, controllership, planning, governance, and team management.

What Youll Do:

- Lead the entire finance function across business finance, FP&A, treasury, controllership, audits, MIS, and finance operations

- Manage and mentor the finance team across reporting, reconciliations, treasury, planning, and controls

- Act as the CFOs right hand in driving strategic finance decisions and financial governance

- Own annual operating plans, budgeting cycles, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis

- Lead profitability, unit economics, and business finance reviews across the companys lending businesses and digital personal loan app.

- Drive liquidity planning, ALM, treasury deployment, cash flow forecasting, and capital allocation

- Ensure robust financial controls, reconciliations, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance in line with RBI / NBFC requirements

- Coordinate with auditors, bankers, lenders, and internal stakeholders for finance and treasury-related processes

- Own board MIS, management dashboards, and strategic finance presentations for leadership and board reviews

- Partner closely with business, risk, product, collections, and tech teams to embed finance thinking across functions

- Drive automation and digitization across finance workflows, reporting, dashboards, and controls

- Build and scale the finance function as the finance function grows from its current scale to the next phase

What Were Looking For:

- 10-18 years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in NBFCs, fintechs, banks, or financial services

- Strong experience across FP&A, treasury, controllership, business finance, and audits

- Strong understanding of digital lending unit economics, liquidity, ALM, and portfolio profitability

- Prior experience leading and managing high-performing finance teams

- Strong understanding of RBI / NBFC financial reporting, audit, and compliance requirements

- High ownership mindset with ability to solve complex, cross-functional business problems

- Ability to work closely with founders, business, risk, product, collections, and tech teams

- Strong orientation toward AI-led automation, finance systems, dashboards, and process transformation

- Experience in unsecured personal loans / small-ticket digital lending
