Role Overview :

The VP-Finance/CFO will serve as a pivotal leader, orchestrating the financial strategy and operations for our real estate-focused engagements and internal financial health. This role involves daily oversight of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring robust fiscal management and compliance. The individual will work closely with senior leadership, project teams, external stakeholders including investors and regulatory bodies, and internal finance teams, directly influencing critical investment decisions, risk mitigation, and the overall financial trajectory of high-value real estate projects and the firm itself.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Planning & Budgeting :

1. Strategic Financial Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Reporting and Financial Management.

2. Project Finance from PSU-Bankers, Financial Institutions, PE Firms, Financial Reporting and Risk Analysis.

3. Documentations of CMA Data and Project Finance

4. Setting Financial Policies and Procedures inline to business goals.

5. Strategic Financial Advice to senior management, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

6. Sound expertise in Financial Analysis, Tax Regulations, and Audit Standards

Stakeholder Management :

1. Cross functional Coordination with Lenders, Equity Investors and Investment bankers for Financial Planning and reporting.

2. Lead debt financing and equity fundraising activities

3. Credit and Financial Control

4. Stakeholder relationship management viz. Clients, suppliers, lenders, investors.

5. Manage routine banking operations/coordination.

Accounting Operations & Risk Management :

1. End to End Management of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Treasury Functions

2. Oversee finalization of accounts and ensure compliance with IND-AS and regulatory requirements

3. Accounts and Balance sheet Finalisation

4. Trail Balances, P&L Accounts

5. Lead audit process with Audit Firms, ensuring timely closure of audit process.

6. Prepare and consolidate financial statements of Business Group Companies

7. Review & audit of procurement process & pricing.

Regulatory Compliance :

1. Oversee compliance with Income Tax, GST, Corporate Laws, and IND-AS regulations.

2. Understanding of RERA Regulatory and Statutory Compliance

3. Oversee Tax Audits, Assessments, and Regulatory filings.

4. MIS reports and maintain project Cash-Flows.

5. Statutory compliance especially GST Law Compliances, TDS and Income Tax.

Other Key Activities for F&A Operations :

1. Financial Strategy : including budgeting, forecasting, contributing to overall strategy and investment prioritization.

2. Risk Management : organizational risk framework (strategic and financial).

3. Coordination with Internal and Statutory Auditors, ensuring Compliances of Statutory and Regulatory compliances.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in project finance, particularly within the real estate sector, including deal structuring, financial modeling, and capital raising.

- Profound understanding of statutory compliance, regulatory compliance, and tax regulations relevant to the Indian real estate market.

- Exceptional capabilities in financial reporting, budgeting, accounting & finance, and strategic planning & budgeting, with a proven track record of driving financial performance.

- Strong leadership presence and superior stakeholder management skills, adept at influencing senior executives, investors, and external partners.

- Analytical acumen to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and formulate strategic recommendations.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting intricate financial information clearly and persuasively.

- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential, complemented by an MBA from a premier institution.

- Minimum of 20-25 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, with a significant portion in the real estate or infrastructure development industry.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure in a Gurgaon-based setting.
