Brief role:


- Seeking a highly experienced and strategic candidate to lead the financial operations of our growing real estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, compliance, risk management, and funding strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, real estate industry experience, and the ability to partner with senior management to drive financial performance and support business growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Support strategic decision-making with financial modeling and analysis.

2. Financial Management & Reporting

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.

- Analyse financial performance, variances, and KPIs.

- Present financial reports to the Board of Directors and senior stakeholders.

3. Treasury & Fund Management

- Manage the divisions capital structure and funding requirements.

- Build relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.

- Oversee cash flow planning & working capital management.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Taxation

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, corporate governance, tax laws, RERA compliances etc.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulators.

5. Risk Management & Internal Controls

- Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation measures.

- Establish robust internal control systems and financial policies.

- Monitor legal contracts, leasing agreements, and other key agreements.

6. Real Estate Project Finance

- Evaluate feasibility studies, ROI, IRR, and financial viability of projects.

- Coordinate with project, sales, and legal teams for financial structuring of deals.

- Monitor cost control, budget adherence, and funding for real estate developments

Key Competencies:

Job related (Functional/ Technical)

Behavioral Competencies:

1. Strong understanding of financial reconciliations, payment processing, and month-end closure activities.

2. Proficiency in SAP and other financial software

3. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS)

4. Extensive experience with statutory and internal audits, including quarterly and annual audits.

5. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and reports.
