About the Role:
Looking for a strategic and results-driven CFO / VP Finance & Accounts to lead the organization's Finance function. The ideal candidate will drive financial planning, statutory compliance, governance, reporting, treasury management, and business growth while partnering with senior leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and execute the organization's financial strategy aligned with business goals.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic planning and business growth.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Oversee financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory regulations.
- Manage statutory audits, GST audits, and regulatory compliance.
3. Treasury & Working Capital:
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and fund utilization.
- Optimize working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
4. Governance & Risk Management:
- Strengthen internal controls and corporate governance.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Ensure successful execution of internal and statutory audits.
5. Performance & Business Insights:
- Review MIS reports and financial dashboards.
- Drive profitability, cost optimization, and financial performance improvements.
- Monitor key financial KPIs and provide strategic insights.
6. Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Finance & Accounts team.
- Collaborate with auditors, investors, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Mandatory experience in B2C industries such as Automobile or FMCG.
- Experience managing organizations with 300 Cr+ turnover or 400+ employees.
- Strong expertise in Financial Strategy, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Reporting, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Treasury, Internal Controls, ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, or Tally), and Advanced Excel.
- Proven leadership experience managing large finance teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Telugu language proficiency is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CA (Chartered Accountant) Mandatory.
- MBA (Finance) candidates from a B2C domain may also be considered.
- Experience in fundraising, investor relations, M&A, or IPO readiness.
- Knowledge of Ind AS/IFRS, Power BI, Tableau, RPA, or finance transformation initiatives is an added advantage.
