Role Overview:

- We are seeking a seasoned Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in Finance & Accounts, to lead financial strategy and execution as the Vice President Finance & Accounts.

- The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in IPO readiness and documentation, fund raising (debt and equity), statutory compliance, and wealth management, with a proven record of managing end-to-end finance functions in a growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Oversee the companys overall financial health, governance, and control environment.

- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term business goals.

- Act as a key financial advisor to the CEO and Board, enabling informed decision-making.

IPO Readiness & Documentation:

- Drive the end-to-end IPO process, including preparation of Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP), coordination with SEBI, merchant bankers, auditors, and legal teams.

- Manage due diligence, compliance checklists, and investor communication documentation.

Fundraising (Debt & Equity)

- Identify and engage with private equity, venture capital, and institutional investors for equity fundraising.

- Manage term loans, working capital arrangements, external commercial borrowings (ECBs), and relationships with banks/NBFCs.

- Structure and negotiate financing deals to optimize cost and flexibility.

Financial Planning, Reporting & Controls:

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and internal reporting cycles.

- Ensure timely preparation and audit of financial statements as per IND-AS/IFRS.

- Establish robust internal controls, accounting policies, and risk frameworks.

Statutory & Tax Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to Income Tax, GST, Companies Act, FEMA, and other regulatory frameworks. Oversee tax planning, assessments, and filings, coordinating with legal and audit advisors.

Wealth Management & Treasury:

- Oversee investment of surplus funds, portfolio allocation, and returns optimization.

- Manage forex exposures, hedging strategies, and treasury operations.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team across accounting, taxation, compliance, and FP&A.

- Coordinate with auditors, legal advisors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.

- Represent finance in cross-functional strategic initiatives and Board meetings.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of experience in core finance functions.

- Proven experience in IPO documentation and execution.

- Deep understanding of fundraising instruments and investor relations.

- Strong analytical, commercial acumen, and strategic mindset.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Industry Background:

- Public or Pre-IPO companies

- BFSI / Manufacturing / Infrastructure / Technology sectors

- Exposure to wealth management or multi-entity structures is a strong plus.
