About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned, dynamic leader to join our Securities Services division as an Account Manager. This is a senior client-facing role that sits at the intersection of client relationship management, commercial growth, and complex operations governance.
The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end service delivery and relationship governance for our marquee institutional clients, ensuring seamless execution across Custody, Corporate Actions, Trade Settlement, and Fund Administration. You will act as the trusted advisor for our clients and the primary escalation point for all strategic and operational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship & Governance: Own and manage relationships with global institutional clients. Lead Service Level Reviews (SLRs), Periodic Business Reviews (QBRs), and ensure exceptional Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) scores.
- Commercial & P&L Ownership: Drive commercial growth by identifying cross-sell/up-sell opportunities within existing accounts. Protect existing revenue streams and manage billing/profitability margins for assigned portfolios.
- Operations Oversight: Provide strategic oversight for core operations including Custody, Asset Services (Corporate Actions, Income Processing), Trade Settlements, and Cash/Security Reconciliations.
- Transition & Onboarding: Actively partner with the implementations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and seamless transition of multi-million/billion-dollar portfolios.
- Transformation & Automation: Champion digital transformation initiatives. Leverage next-gen tools and automation to drive Straight-Through Processing (STP) rates, reduce operational risks, and improve turnaround times.
- Risk & Compliance: Maintain a robust risk and control environment. Ensure all market regulations, compliance policies, and audit requirements are strictly adhered to.
Candidate Profile / What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 12 to 18+ years of core experience in the Financial Services industry, with a heavy focus on Securities Services, Global Custody, and Asset Services.
- Leadership: Proven track record in a Vice President (VP) or similar senior leadership capacity, managing global teams and large-scale operations.
- Client-Facing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage senior external stakeholders (C-suite/Directors at client firms) and negotiate complex service requirements.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle, fund accounting, corporate action entitlements, and global market nuances.
- Analytical Skills: Strong exposure to data-driven decision-making and process re-engineering.
- Education: MBA/PGDM from a premier institute (preferred) or CA/CFA with relevant core operations and account management experience.
