About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager specializing in Waterproofing & Maintenance to lead and oversee waterproofing projects across various structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in waterproofing systems, coupled with proven leadership abilities to manage design, planning, execution, and quality assurance. This role requires hands-on experience in site assessment, material selection, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to deliver durable and effective waterproofing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Planning: Develop detailed specifications and design plans for effective waterproofing systems. Select suitable materials and techniques tailored to different structures and project needs.
- Site Assessment: Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of buildings and infrastructure to identify existing water damage and forecast waterproofing requirements.
- Material Selection: Evaluate and choose appropriate waterproofing materials and products that align with project specifications and environmental conditions.
- Project Oversight: Lead and supervise waterproofing installations on-site, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality benchmarks, and project deadlines.
- Quality Control: Establish, implement, and monitor rigorous quality control procedures to guarantee the integrity, durability, and long-term performance of waterproofing systems.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve issues related to waterproofing failures such as membrane breaches, leaks, or defects, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure all waterproofing activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to address challenges and facilitate smooth project execution.
- 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in waterproofing, construction maintenance, or related roles.
