Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and enterprising Vertical Head / Business Head to lead growth for one of our key verticals. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who can combine strategic thinking, business development, and team mentorship to drive revenue and expand our client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Business Expansion:
- Develop and execute business strategies to acquire new clients and expand into new industry verticals.
- Identify and tap into market opportunities to scale the agencys reach and influence.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Leverage industry relationships and networks to drive new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key clients and prospects.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of account managers, planners, and creative partners.
- Set clear performance objectives and foster a high-performing, collaborative culture.
Market Intelligence & Strategy:
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client behavior to refine vertical-specific strategies.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop go-to-market plans and positioning for different verticals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the creative, planning, media, and digital teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure the team consistently meets client expectations and quality benchmarks.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in business development, client servicing, or strategy within an advertising or creative agency.
- Proven ability to lead verticals or business units with revenue ownership and team management.
- Strong industry connects with the ability to open doors and convert leads into long-term clients.
- Deep understanding of advertising, brand strategy, integrated marketing, and client dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth, ownership, and outcomes.
