Velocity - Chief Financial Officer - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Role Overview :

We are looking for a seasoned finance leader with strong experience across Corporate Development, M&A, Investor Relations, and Fundraising, along with prior Investment Banking experience. This role will be critical in driving financial strategy, capital planning, and long-term value creation for the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead overall financial strategy, planning, and analysis (FP&A)

- Drive fundraising initiatives (equity, debt) and manage investor relations

- Lead Corporate Development initiatives, including M&A and strategic partnerships

- Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

- Ensure compliance, governance, and risk management

- Provide strategic insights to founders and leadership team

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning

- Build and scale finance systems, processes, and teams.

Eligibility Criteria :

- MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs / reputed colleges preferred)

- Candidates from 20152016 batches of IIM A, B, C, L or ISB

- 1015+ years of experience, with minimum 3+ years in core Investment Banking (M&A / Capital Markets / Transaction Advisory preferred)

- Proven experience in a CFO / senior finance leadership role

- Strong exposure to Corporate Development, Fundraising, and Investor Relations

- Experience working with high-growth startups or reputed financial institutions, especially across Series B/C/D/E stages.
