Position Details:

Designation: Senior Manager - Learning & OD

Reports To: AVP COE

Location: Corporate Office - Govandi East, Mumbai (1st, 3rd, 5th Saturday working, 2nd and 4th Saturday off), Work from office only.

Reportees: 0 (IC role)

Department: HR

Role Objective:

The L&OD Manager is an individual contributor, reporting to the Head of Capability Development. The individual will be responsible to design, develop and implement the comprehensive learning and development plans for Head Office functions and support Sales & Plant learning interventions. The position will collaborate and work closely with Sales & Plant training teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

To ensure USV maintains competitive edge by developing and nurturing its workforce through learning and development interventions, the L&OD manager will identify skill gaps, develop training programs and implement organizational development interventions that drive performance and engagement.

Stakeholders:

Internal: CXOs and Business Heads, Function Heads, Line Managers, HRBPs - HO, Plant & Sales, Sales L&D team and Plant Training Team

External: Trainers, Institutes, Agencies

Key Accountabilities:

Implement various learning initiatives across organizations as per the Learning & Development strategy. Coordinate with all internal & external stakeholders to ensure smooth conduct of the training programs.

Area 1. Program Management (Functional & Behavioral training): 50%

- Execute the L&D strategy designed for the year aligned to the organization objectives and needs.

- Design and deliver identified training programs including planning, program preparation, infrastructure readiness.

- Facilitate key training programs - POSH, New Manager Orientation, Supervisory Skills, Competency based behavioural training program etc.

- Liaise with external agencies to execute training programs for HO functions by internal trainers / experts

- Track & Measuring program effectiveness through pre and post-training assessments for relevant learning programs

Area 2: Learning Management System: 10%

- Manage Learning Management system (LMS), track training progress, manage training resources and generate reports on training effectiveness

- Design and create modules in collaboration with SME's and Sales L&D team for LMS

- Content creation, curation, finalization & release on the PeopleStrong LMS

- Creation of ready reckoners, Link to external courses

Learning related polls, surveys

Area 3 : New Projects: 30%

- New Initiatives and transformation work - Process Improvement & organizational development initiatives

Digitize interventions for learning:

- Lead the supervisory capability development areas - communication, coaching & performance management.

Area 4. Vendor Partner Management (10%):

- Coordinate with the third party vendors,trainers,agencies for registration, onboarding onboarding with proper agreements.

- Coordinate with vendors/ trainers// agencies and finance to ensure timely payments

Requirement:

- Postgraduate with Masters in Business Administration - HR (Full time) or equivalent.

- 7 - 12 years of experience

- Conceptual knowledge of learning theories and experience in driving org. wide learning initiatives

- Hands on experience in using LMS preferably Peoplestrong

Skills required:

Core Skills : Training facilitation skills, Instructional design, Excellent Planning & Organizing, Project Management and Communication skills - Written & Oral.

Strategic Impact skills : Strategic Thinking, Stakeholder Management, Influencing skills, Data analytics & ROI

Mindset & Drive :
