Role Overview:

The Head People Business Partner will serve as a strategic architect for the organizations human capital agenda, reporting directly to the leadership team. In this capacity, you will act as a primary advisor to business heads, translating complex business objectives into actionable people strategies. You will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, focusing on organizational design, talent management, and cultural transformation to drive high-performance outcomes. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of balancing operational excellence with long-term strategic planning to ensure the workforce remains agile and aligned with the companys growth trajectory in the competitive insurance landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with senior leadership to define and execute human capital strategies that directly support the company's business goals and revenue targets.

- Lead organizational design initiatives to optimize team structures, ensuring clear accountability and operational efficiency across all departments.

- Oversee the implementation of performance management frameworks that foster a culture of meritocracy and continuous improvement.

- Drive talent development and succession planning programs to build a robust leadership pipeline and ensure business continuity.

- Manage complex employee relations and conflict resolution processes to maintain a positive and compliant work environment.

- Analyze workforce data and HR metrics to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and improve employee engagement.

- Spearhead change management initiatives during organizational transitions to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and cultural shifts.

Required Skillset:

- Possess 15 - 25 years of progressive experience in human resources, with a significant tenure in a strategic business partnering capacity within the BFSI or insurance sector.

- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in organizational development, talent management, and compensation strategy, with a proven track record of managing large-scale HR functions.

- Exhibit exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex organizational dynamics.

- Maintain a deep understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance requirements relevant to the insurance industry.

- Showcase strong analytical capabilities, utilizing data-driven approaches to solve business problems and measure the impact of HR interventions.

- Hold a Masters degree in Human Resources or an MBA from a premier business school, reflecting a strong academic foundation.

- Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in an on-site environment in Mumbai, fostering face-to-face collaboration with cross-functional teams.
