Unit HR Head - Healthcare

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Unit HR Head to lead the Human Resources function at our 200+ bedded hospital. The role requires a strategic HR leader with proven expertise in managing the entire HR gamut within a healthcare environment, ensuring alignment of people strategy with hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the end-to-end HR operations for the hospital unit.

- Oversee Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Training & Development, Payroll, and Compliance.

- Drive manpower planning, recruitment, and onboarding in line with hospital requirements.

- Ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory compliance, and hospital accreditation (e.g., NABH) requirements.

- Implement and monitor HR policies, systems, and processes to enhance organizational effectiveness.

- Act as a strategic partner to hospital leadership in workforce planning and organizational development.

- Foster a positive and high-performance work culture, ensuring employee satisfaction and retention.

- Manage industrial relations, disciplinary proceedings, and grievance handling as per organizational guidelines.

- Prepare and monitor HR budgets, MIS, and periodic reports for management review.

Key Requirements:

Qualification: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.

Experience:

- 12-20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a hospital/healthcare setup (200+ beds preferred).

- Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and hospital accreditation HR standards.

- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage change, build culture, and act as a trusted advisor to management and employees.
