Role: Government & Institutional Projects Leader

About the Role

This role will lead Unacademy's government and institutional initiatives, including partnerships with government bodies, public institutions, UPSC/State PSC ecosystems, and large-scale academic projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Government & Institutional Engagement

- Identify and pursue opportunities with government bodies, universities, and public institutions.

- Handle RFPs, tenders, proposals, and institutional agreements.

2. Project Ownership & Execution

- Own end-to-end execution of approved government projects.

- Coordinate with internal academic, legal, finance, and ops teams.

3. Stakeholder Management

- Build relationships with government officials, institutional heads, and administrators.

- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Revenue & Compliance

- Own project-wise revenue, timelines, and compliance requirements.

- Ensure adherence to government norms, documentation, and reporting standards.

5. Strategy & Expansion

- Track policy changes, education reforms, and government initiatives.

- Identify scalable long-term opportunities in public education.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 5-10 years of experience in government projects, public sector consulting, or EdTech institutional sales.

2. Strong experience with tenders, MoUs, and compliance processes.

3. Excellent stakeholder and project management skills.
