Role description

About TresVista

TresVista is a global enterprise whose business model is built to deliver enduring value. TresVista combines best practices, technology-enabled execution, and industry-leading talent to drive meaningful results. By integrating advisory capabilities with scalable delivery, TresVista helps clients operate smarter and grow stronger. TresVista's services include investment diligence, industry research, valuation, fund administration, accounting, and data analytics.

About the Department:

The Finance Operations department in the company handles all the financial and investment decisions. It primarily focuses on maximizing shareholder value through long-term and short-term financial planning and the implementation of various strategies. It aims to maximize the value of a business through the planning and execution of resources.

The Role & Responsibilities

The Vice President - Order to Cash / Accounts Receivable will lead TresVistas end-to-end revenue-to-cash agenda, with ownership across invoicing, collections, credit risk, revenue assurance, pricing insights, customer contract inputs, cash forecasting, and O2C transformation. This is a high-impact, customer-facing leadership role requiring strong commercial judgement, business acumen, analytical depth, and the ability to partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Legal, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Product, and business leadership.

Beyond traditional AR accounting, revenue accounting, revenue gap assessment, statutory audit support, DSO calculation, and transaction governance, the role will be expected to create measurable business value by anticipating risks, solving structural issues, improving cash predictability, and using technology, dashboards, automation, AI/RPA, and analytics to build a scalable O2C operating model.

Key Role Deliverables:

Commercial Finance, Revenue Insights & Pricing Governance

- Partner with business and commercial teams to evaluate pricing models, cost inflators, customer discounts, sales commissions, CAC, customer lifetime value, ARR, and revenue added by channel/product.

- Provide analytical insights on churn, customer loyalty, customer profitability, customer behavior, and revenue leakage to support strategic decision-making.

- Act as a core member of the pricing committee and provide inputs on price structuring, discount governance, customer viability, renewal economics, and commercial risk.

Customer Contracts, Churn Mitigation & Legal Partnership

- Participate in the customer contract committee and advise on payment terms, collection enforceability, contract risk, churn triggers, discounting terms, and revenue protection clauses.

- Work closely with Legal to resolve overdue accounts, contract disputes, collection challenges, and escalations requiring formal recovery or negotiation.

- Develop mitigation practices to reduce churn, improve customer stickiness, and strengthen contract hygiene across new and existing client relationships.

Collections, International Banking & Treasury Partnership

- Lead timely collections across geographies by addressing customer-side issues, banking delays, failed payment flows, international remittance challenges, and process bottlenecks.

- Partner with Treasury for cash forecasting, liquidity visibility, collection predictability, auto-collection mechanisms, and banking process improvements.

- Own DSO, CEI, ageing movement, overdue reduction, unapplied cash, and collection-risk reporting with clear governance and escalation rhythm.

Digital Transformation, AI/RPA & Control Tower

- Build a digital-first O2C operating model through dashboards, RPA workflows, AI-enabled anomaly detection, auto-matching, cash application automation, and revenue/cash forecasting models.

- Create exception-based control towers for invoice accuracy, collections risk, pricing exceptions, contract-related disputes, write-offs, credit memos, and customer-level exposure.

- Drive business cases and ROI for collections platforms, EIPP/portals, cash application ML/IDP, workflow automation, and analytics-led decision support.

O2C Operations, Revenue Accounting & Controls

- Own end-to-end AR/O2C operations including billing accuracy, client invoicing, collections, cash application, credit notes, write-off governance, revenue accounting, revenue gap assessment, and statutory audit support.

- Strengthen controls around onboarding, KYC, credit limits, segregation of duties, audit trails, billing accuracy, tax/e-invoicing readiness, and revenue handoffs.

- Establish process discipline across customer master data, payment terms, dispute SLAs, credit governance, closing activities, and audit evidence readiness.

M&A, New Service Lines & Geographic Expansion Support

- Support due diligence for M&A, acquire opportunities, new service lines, new geographies, and new end markets by evaluating customer contracts, revenue quality, receivables, collection risks, and integration readiness.

- Standardize customer master data, collection policies, payment terms, and O2C controls where new entities, products, markets, or customer portfolios are integrated into TresVistas operating model.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership Rhythm

- Partner across Legal, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Commercial, Product, business teams, and leadership to identify risks early, solve cross-functional issues, and drive accountable outcomes.

- Run weekly exception and ageing reviews, monthly CFO/commercial reviews, and leadership packs covering cash, risk, churn, customer health, and transformation progress.

Decision Rights

- Recommend and approve O2C credit, collections, customer contract, and e-billing governance standards in partnership with relevant stakeholders.

- Prioritize the O2C automation roadmap, exception dashboards, workflow releases, and transformation initiatives in collaboration with IT and business teams.

- Drive escalation decisions for overdue accounts, customer exposure, policy exceptions, and credit risk mitigation actions.

- Propose transformation investments, vendor/platform requirements, ROI cases, and operating model changes for revenue-to-cash scalability.

Success Measures (KPIs)

- Reduction in DSO, overdue balances, delinquency movement, write-offs, and unresolved disputes.

- Improvement in CEI, timely collections, cash forecast accuracy, and customer-level collection predictability.

- First-pass invoice accuracy, billing cycle-time reduction, reduction in pricing/contract/tax-related rework, and faster audit evidence turnaround.

- Improvement in ARR visibility, ARR added by channel/product, churn insights, discount governance, customer lifetime value understanding, and revenue leakage prevention.

- Automation adoption, cash application auto-match percentage, anomaly detection effectiveness, dashboard adoption, and measurable transformation ROI.

- Improved stakeholder satisfaction across commercial, legal, treasury, finance, product, and leadership teams.

Prerequisites:

- Chartered Accountant with 8 - 14 years of experience across Order to Cash, Accounts Receivable, revenue accounting, commercial finance, credit risk, collections, or transformation-led finance operations.

- Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to connect invoicing, collections, pricing, contracts, customer behavior, churn, revenue forecasting, and cash forecasting.

- Customer-facing mindset with strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics/D365, or equivalent finance platforms; exposure to Power BI/control towers, collection platforms, EIPP/portals, AI/RPA, cash application automation, or workflow tools will be preferred.

- Strong understanding of international banking, collections, customer contracting, credit policy, revenue controls, SOX/ICFR, statutory audit support, and multi-entity/multi-jurisdiction operations.

- High analytical orientation with advanced Excel/reporting capability and the ability to convert data into insights, actions, and business decisions.

- Demonstrated ability to anticipate problems, design mitigation plans, solve cross-functional issues, and operate effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

- Self-driven, detail-oriented, proactive, entrepreneurial, and willing to build scalable processes while continuing to learn and grow.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- CA with 8 - 14 years of experience, preferably in a high-growth services, consulting, SaaS, technology-enabled, or global managed-services environment.

- Proven leadership in O2C/AR, collections, revenue assurance, credit governance, customer contracts, pricing analytics, cash forecasting, and commercial finance advisory.

- Experience working directly with customers and senior internal stakeholders to resolve collection, pricing, contract, and revenue-related issues.

- Strong transformation orientation with exposure to dashboards, AI/RPA, anomaly detection, cash forecasting, revenue forecasting, auto-collection, and automation-led finance operating models.

- Ability to think strategically and critically while remaining hands-on in execution, controls, governance, and stakeholder follow-through.
