Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Associate Vice President (SAVP) - Business Development to lead strategic initiatives that accelerate revenue growth, strengthen market presence, and scale 1-2 core business units.
This role sits at the intersection of business development, marketing strategy, and operational excellence, requiring a leader who can think strategically, execute rigorously, and drive measurable outcomes across high-impact business areas.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth Strategy
- Own and scale business units with a focus on market expansion and revenue acceleration.
- Develop and execute business development strategies, go-to-market plans, and competitive positioning.
- Identify and unlock new growth opportunities across markets, segments, and customer cohorts.
- Build and refine pipelines for partnerships, alliances, and cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
Marketing & Commercial Strategy
- Partner with Marketing to drive demand generation, brand visibility, and campaign effectiveness.
- Use market intelligence to refine value propositions and messaging strategies.
- Align acquisition, retention, and engagement goals with broader commercial priorities.
Operations & Execution Excellence
- Build scalable growth processes, automation workflows, and governance models.
- Use dashboards, performance reviews, and KPIs to ensure timely and quality-focused delivery.
- Continuously optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Strategy teams to align priorities.
- Drive coordinated execution across teams to enable unified business development objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred, particularly with a focus on strategy, growth, or commercialization.
- Experience: 9-13 years of experience in business development, revenue strategy, GTM leadership, commercial operations, or scaling growth functions in high-growth environments.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and scaling high-impact business units or revenue-generating modules.
- Demonstrated success in building and executing GTM strategies, driving demand generation, and unlocking new monetization or partnership opportunities.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience with pipeline management, account expansion, pricing strategy, customer segmentation, and growth forecasting.
- Ability to align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive unified business development and growth outcomes.
- Experience leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, high-growth, target-driven environments, with strong leadership, execution discipline, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into revenue strategy, opportunity sizing, and business development prioritization.
