Tower Lead/Head - Record To Report - Manufacturing Finance - CA

Role Purpose:

The R2R Tower Lead will oversee end-to-end Record-to-Report processes across plants and corporate entities. The role is responsible for ensuring timely financial close, strong compliance, accurate reporting, and robust cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Close & Consolidation:

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

- Ensure plant-level and HO-level consolidation.

- Improve close timelines and reporting accuracy.

2. Manufacturing & Cost Accounting:

- Oversee plant accounting and inventory controls.

- Monitor clinker/cement stock reconciliation.

- Ensure accuracy in cost accounting and margin reporting.

3. Compliance & Governance:

- Ensure compliance with IND-AS and statutory regulations.

- Lead coordination with statutory and internal auditors.

- Strengthen IFC/internal control framework.

4. Financial Reporting:

- Review financial statements and schedules.

- Support board reporting requirements.

- Partner with FP&A for budgeting and forecasting alignment.

5. ERP & Process Transformation:

- Drive SAP-based standardization across plants.

- Improve chart of accounts harmonization.

- Lead automation and process improvement initiatives.

6. Internal Controls:

- Strengthen reconciliation discipline.

- Address audit findings and close control gaps.

- Ensure clean audit outcomes.

7. Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead plant finance controllers and HO R2R teams.

- Build strong governance framework across multiple entities.

Candidate Profile;

- CA mandatory (preferred)

- 15-20 years of experience in manufacturing finance

- Strong exposure to plant accounting & cost accounting

- Deep understanding of IND-AS

- Experience in SAP environment

- Strong audit and compliance background

- Experience managing multi-location teams
