Job Title: Associate Director - Talent Acquisition (Non-IT Hiring)
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Associate Director Talent Acquisition to lead, guide, and enable a high-performing TA team responsible for large-scale non-IT hiring across Field Sales, Business Development, Retail, and Beauty/Wellness roles.
The ideal leader will drive strategy, empower the team, and ensure seamless execution of hiring goals across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
1. TA Strategy & Team Leadership
- Build and implement the overall TA strategy for non-IT hiring.
- Lead, coach, and upskill the TA team to deliver high-volume and niche hiring mandates.
- Guide the team on workforce planning, forecasting, and monthly hiring priorities with business leaders.
2. High-Volume & Specialized Hiring through Team Management
- Oversee end-to-end hiring execution managed by the TA team for Field Sales, BDMs, Retail Staff, Skin Therapists, and Cosmetologists.
- Ensure the team builds strong and scalable pipelines for bulk recruitment.
- Monitor team performance to ensure quality hires within defined SLAs.
3. Campus / Institute Partnerships
- Drive the team to build and maintain partnerships with nursing institutes, beauty academies, sales training centers, and retail institutes.
- Enable the team to conduct campus drives, job fairs, and institute-based hiring events.
- Establish long-term campus pipelines to support quarterly and annual hiring needs.
4. HireTrainDeploy (HTD) Model Execution
- Provide leadership to design and run structured HTD programs for Sales, Retail, and Therapist roles.
- Coordinate with training teams while ensuring the TA team manages candidate selection and pre-joining training batches.
- Review metrics on training conversion, job readiness, and deployment effectiveness.
5. Business & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary TA partner to senior stakeholders across Sales, Retail, Operations, and Beauty verticals.
- Guide the team in translating manpower requirements into hiring plans.
- Lead discussions on hiring dashboards, challenges, and market insights.
6. Sourcing Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Direct the team in building diversified sourcing channels such as portals, referrals, field sourcing, walk-ins, institutes, and HTD pipelines.
- Oversee team-led hiring events, mega drives, and local recruitment campaigns.
7. Employer Branding
- Provide direction for strengthening the employer brand across LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and grassroots channels.
- Support the team in executing branding campaigns targeted at sales, retail, and beauty talent pools.
8. Process Excellence & Governance
- Ensure the team follows standardized interview processes, assessments, grooming checks, and trade tests.
- Improve ATS adoption, hiring MIS, and reporting accuracy through team coaching and governance.
- Drive continuous process improvements across the TA function.
9. Vendor & Agency Management
- Oversee relationships with recruitment agencies, staffing partners, and training institutes.
- Ensure the team monitors vendor performance and adherence to agreed SLAs.
- Lead commercial discussions and vendor optimization initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
8 - 14 years of experience in non-IT hiring with strong exposure to:
- Field Sales & BDM hiring
- Retail hiring
- Beauty & Wellness hiring (Therapists/Cosmetologists)
- Campus & institute partnerships
- HTD program management
- Proven experience in leading and scaling multi-location TA teams.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching abilities.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
- Data-driven approach with strong command of recruitment metrics.
- Working knowledge of ATS, job portals, and frontline sourcing.
