
Job Description: Regional Merchandiser (Titan Eye+ & Runway)
The role sits at the intersection of fashion, Vision healthcare, Inventory Management and retail analytics. The person is responsible for ensuring that the right eyewear collections (Titan, Fastrack, Dash, and international luxury brands etc) are in the right stores at the right time to maximize regional profitability & sell through. This will happen though the chronological process of identifying the right merchandise, making it available, supplying it at the given intervals, reviewing and replenishing. Working closely with the Regional Retail team & the Store teams.
Report to: Head- Merchandising
Key Responsibilities
- Frontend Merchandising & Inventory Management
- Stock Management at the Retial stores and availability agianst the norms set
- Replenishment of the stocks based on sale through the TOC
- Stock Optimization: Monitor Stock-to-Sales ratios for all stores to ensure lean but sufficient inventory.
- Auto-Replenishment: Manage and fine-tune the auto-replenishment system to maintain "Core" high-selling frames & Sunglasses
- Defining bestsellers and maintaining the inventory as per the given norms
- Inter-Store Transfers (IST): Execute stock movements between stores to liquidate slow-movers and capitalize on high-demand locations.
- Managing the stock ageing & liquidating as per plan
- Assortment Planning & New Stores
- Regional Curating: Customize store assortments based on local demographics (e.g., higher premium mix for Tier-1 metros vs. value-driven mix for Tier-2 cities).
- First-fill assortment planning for New Stores while interfaing with the NSO team & the store design team
- Watching the sale trends and suggesting Assortment Group changes accordingly
- Month-end Primary sale recommendation for the region and ensuring the billing through the Warehouse Team
- New Product Launches
- Executing the New Product Launches in line with the divisional and channel objectives.
- Populating the new products in form of assorment across the regions. Having Franchisee buy-in to stock the new products
- Maintaining the New Product share to sale in the region based on given objectives
- New Launch anlytics- Sellthough Performance, Recommendation for ordeting and dropping
- Portfolio Understanding & recommendation
- Visual Merchandising (VM) Synergy
- Planogram Compliance: Work closely with the VM team to ensure that regions have displayed the stocks whether new or existing as per the VM guidelines
- Display Audits: During store visits, ensure that the physical stock matches the visual standards of the Titan Eye+ brand.
- Supply Chain & WH Coordination
- Work alongwith the SCM team and the WH Team to manage the backend inventory
- Supply proposals on products for billing to stores
Work Experience:
Ideal Candidate:
- Ideal candidate should have excellent Merandising and Inventory Management skills with an above average knowledge of advanced level MS Excel. Working with Macros will be an added advantage
- The candidate should be from Eyecare Industy and should have good knowledge of the Category including the Frames, Sunglasses & Spectacles. Understanding of lenses will be an added advantage
- Candidate should have worked in the Core Merchandising functions involving National/Regional level assortment planning, new product management
- Analytical Skills and comfort with working with numbers is a must
- Having sales experience in the Eyecare Category will be an added advantage
- Candidate should have good communication skills and should be confident to talk to Regional Team and in some cases with the customers too
- Willingness to travel to markets as and when required
