
Role Overview:
The Social Media & Content Specialist will manage the brand's social media presence, create engaging content, and support digital marketing initiatives. This role requires strong creative thinking, content writing skills, and hands-on experience in social media platforms, performance tracking, and campaign execution.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
Social Media Management:
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Manage the monthly content calendar and ensure timely delivery of posts and campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends, viral formats, platform updates, and competitor activities.
- Engage with the audience by responding to comments, DMs, queries, and community interactions.
- Execute result-driven social media campaigns to boost reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Track platform KPIs including impressions, engagement, CTR, and community growth.
Content Creation & Copywriting:
- Write clear, creative, and compelling copy for posts, ads, reels, blogs, emails, and website content.
- Coordinate with designers to create high-quality creative assets as per briefs.
- Assist in scripting and ideation for reels, videos, and engagement-focused content.
- Proofread, edit, and maintain consistency in brand tone and communication style.
- Identify trending content ideas and assist in capturing/shooting videos and reels.
Performance & Analytics:
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports using Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.
- Conduct basic A/B testing on creatives, captions, concepts, and content formats.
- Provide insights, recommendations, and optimization strategies to enhance social media performance.
Campaign & Collaboration Support:
- Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns, brand collaborations, and partnerships.
- Work with influencers and content partners to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
- Support campaign research, planning, and execution as required.
Required Skillsets:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Ability to ideate, script, and contribute to video/reel creation.
- Basic knowledge of performance analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with boosting/paid promotions and running small-scale campaigns.
- Good coordination skills to work with designers, influencers, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in identifying trends, audience behavior, and content opportunities.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and time management.
- Creativity with a strong eye for design, tone, and user engagement.
Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, or related field.
