Accountable for (Direct Reports)
(Functions Supervised) No Direct Reports, but he would work closely with the Commercial person and Content Head for compilation of all legal documents, coordination with Legal Firms for litigation etc
Years of Experience: LLB with 8-10 years relevant experience with experience in Film Industry preferred
Qualification: LLB or Masters in Law from a reputed institute
Previous Experience: (Detail out nature of experience required)
- Good experience on drafting contracts, negotiating and meeting with the counterparty, implementing a sound legal documentation process and system for the business.
- Good understanding and experience of the Copyright law and film contracts, acquisition and production models and best practices followed in the industry.
- Also, exposure in handling the litigation process and coordinating with the Legal Firm and Senior Counsels for the same.
Competencies/Skills/Personal Attributes:
- Excellent drafting skills
- Sound Knowledge of the Copyright Act, developments in IPRS etc
- Good communication skills and develop rapport with the Functional heads and also network within the industry
