Business Development Manager Pune.


We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to spearhead client acquisition and revenue growth in Pune and Maharashtra markets.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising, digital marketing, and media sales with a proven ability to build relationships, close deals, and drive business strategy aligned with our agencys goals.


- Identify potential clients and sectors aligning with agencys portfolio and services.


- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor analysis, and emerging opportunities.


- Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients in advertising and digital marketing space.


- Leverage CRMs and tools like Apollo, Easyleads, Kaspr, and Sales Navigator to identify leads and right POCs (Marketing Heads, Brand Directors).


- Conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to build a robust pipeline.


- Present tailored proposals with detailed service breakdowns to justify quotations.


- Follow up consistently to nurture leads and ensure smooth onboarding of clients.


- Maintain strong relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.


- Work closely with creative, strategy, and marketing teams to align business development initiatives with agency capabilities.


- Drive content marketing and thought leadership activities to enhance agency visibility.


- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development roles in advertising, media, or digital

marketing agencies.


- Experience in space selling in Pune/Maharashtra media industry is a plus.


- Proven track record of securing high-value clients and growing revenue.


- Strong understanding of the Pune & Maharashtra market landscape and network.


- Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, Marathi) with persuasive presentation and email writing skills.


- Active on LinkedIn and other social platforms for professional networking.


- Familiarity with sales and prospecting tools (CRM, Sales Navigator, etc.


- Degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.


- Proactive, self-motivated, and results driven.


- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.


- Good understanding of value proposition and case study presentation to clients.
