Position: Technical Sales Lead
The role involves leading the sales efforts across insurance and financial services clients. The candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing deals for technology-enabled products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the complete sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closure.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across insurers and distributors.
- Understand client pain points thoroughly and position solutions accordingly.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to translate client requirements into technical specifications.
- Participate in industry events, conduct demos, and lead client workshops.
- Maintain CRM with good sales hygiene to track progress and pipeline.
- Meet revenue and account growth targets consistently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise/B2B sales.
- Prior experience or exposure to insurance or BFSI technology is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the insurance value chain (life, health, or general insurance).
- Proven track record of opening new accounts and closing high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with strong action-oriented and results-driven approach.
- Familiarity with sales tools including CRM and email automation.
- Prior experience selling SaaS, AI/ML, or analytics solutions to insurance clients is an advantage.
