Overview:

A reputed and diversified group with operations across Africa is seeking a Technical Lead to manage and supervise Air Conditioning (AC) installations and after-sales service for large residential and housing projects in Mauritius. The role involves overseeing complete technical execution - from design validation to commissioning and maintenance - ensuring comfort, reliability, and long-term system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise all AC installation activities for villas, apartment complexes, and residential clusters.

- Review system designs and ensure correct equipment sizing and layout according to building plans.

- Supervise installation of inverter-based split, multi-split, and ducted AC systems, ensuring adherence to standards and safety norms.

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration with building infrastructure.

- Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover of systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

- Establish preventive maintenance schedules and oversee after-sales service operations.

- Manage technical teams, allocate resources, and monitor project timelines and budgets.

- Implement and monitor quality assurance and safety protocols at project sites.

- Train and mentor service technicians, ensuring high-quality workmanship and professionalism.

- Handle client interactions and ensure prompt resolution of service-related issues.

Candidate Profile:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineering.

- 8-10 years of experience in residential or housing AC projects, including inverter-based systems and VRF/VRV installations.

- Strong technical and site supervision skills with hands-on experience in installation and service management.

- Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer management skills.
