Team Lead - Legal - Commercial Contracts

Looking for a Team Lead to build, run, and elevate a high-performing commercial contracts team supporting the business worldwide.

What You'll Own:

- Contract Delivery at Scale - Lead a 5 to 7-member team handling drafting, review, and negotiation across NDAs, sales, procurement, rebate, distribution, and SaaS agreements

- Legal Operations Excellence - Set up KPIs and SLAs, run monthly governance reviews, track cycle time, backlog, and customer satisfaction like a true operator

- People Leadership - Own performance evaluation, mentoring, onboarding, and engagement for your team - not just supervision, real people management

- Global Stakeholder Management - Partner with legal and business leaders across time zones, including a China-based team member on your roster

- Process & Technology - Continuously improve how legal services are delivered, leveraging tools and data to drive efficiency

What We're Looking For:

- Law degree from a Tier-1 institution, with law firm experience before your move in-house

- 3 - 4 years of hands-on commercial contract drafting and negotiation

- 2 - 3+ years managing a team with real performance-ownership - not just informal mentoring

- Strong communicator, comfortable driving structure and governance in a fast-scaling environment

- Immediate joiners preferred - this is a fast-moving, time-sensitive opportunity
