Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Planning:


- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company goals.


- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform strategic direction.


- Set clear team objectives (KPIs, targets, pipelines) and ensure alignment with the broader sales strategy.


- Partner with senior leadership on long-term growth initiatives and revenue forecasting.

Team Management & Coaching:


- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) / Sales Executives.


- Conduct performance reviews, skill gap assessments, and provide ongoing coaching.


- Facilitate training on sales techniques, CRM tools, negotiation best practices, and customer engagement.


- Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

Client Engagement & Pipeline Growth:


- Oversee the generation and qualification of leads through outreach campaigns, networking, events, and referrals.


- Support team members in building meaningful relationships with prospective clients.


- Participate in high-impact sales meetings, presentations, and negotiations as needed.


- Ensure consistent follow-up and conversion of leads into opportunities.

Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification:


- Conduct research to uncover new market segments, partnerships, and revenue streams.


- Evaluate industry shifts that could impact growth opportunities.


- Recommend new product/service offerings based on client feedback and demand signals.

Reporting & Performance Tracking:


- Monitor team performance and pipeline health through dashboards and regular reporting.


- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on performance trends.


- Ensure accurate data entry and CRM usage for transparent forecasting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns, collateral, and messaging.


- Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.


- Advocate for customer needs and market feedback in internal strategy discussions.
