Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager based in Faridabad. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving the sales of Tata Motors Finance's diverse range of financial products. This pivotal role involves actively managing and nurturing robust client relationships, formulating and executing effective sales strategies, and consistently achieving ambitious sales targets.


Beyond individual sales performance, the Sales Manager will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing sales team. Key responsibilities also include conducting insightful market research, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales journey.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales Strategy & Execution:


- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets for all TMF product offerings (new asset financing for Passenger Cars, Utility Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, Motor Insurance, Used Vehicle, and Construction Equipment financing).

- Drive aggressive sales growth within the designated territory, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.

- Monitor sales performance closely, analyze trends, and adapt strategies as needed to ensure continuous achievement of targets.


Team Leadership & Management:


- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Set clear performance objectives for the sales team, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching.

- Lead by example, demonstrating strong sales acumen and ethical conduct.


Client Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, dealerships, and other stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

- Act as a primary point of contact for customer queries, concerns, and escalations, resolving issues promptly and effectively.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional financial products to existing clients.


Market Research & Business Development:


- Conduct thorough market research to understand customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities within the automotive and financial services sectors.

- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding TMF's market reach and customer base.

- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new segments and geographies.


Reporting & Analysis:


- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to senior management.

- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer data, and generate insightful reports.

- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.


Compliance & Operations:


- Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.

- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., credit, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless customer experience and efficient processing of applications.


Qualifications:


Experience:


- Proven, extensive experience in sales management with a demonstrable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding challenging sales targets.

- Prior experience in the financial services or automotive industry is a significant advantage.


Leadership & Team Management:


- Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.

- Excellent team management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation.


Communication & Interpersonal Skills:


- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex financial products clearly and persuasively.

- Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders.


Strategic & Analytical Skills:


- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and execute effective sales strategies.

- Strong analytical skills for conducting market research, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.


Technical Proficiency:


- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) for managing sales pipelines and customer relationships.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.


Education:


Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a closely related field.

- Ability to work effectively both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as a valuable member of a team.
