Job Purpose
1. Interaction with operations, support functions and customer teams to coordinate all pre-production and production activities as per the Integrated master schedule and to lead and organize activities and ensure that project goals align with the company's objectives
2. Continuous monitoring of cost, schedule and Quality using various plan vs actual metrics which may require rescheduling and agreement with all stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Execution / Implementation
1. Track and monitor the completion status of all pre-production activities along with process approvals and/or audits as per the agreed schedule.
2. Determine contractual requirements and ensure exhaustive Contract review with all internal stakeholders along with Purchase Order review; instruct team for any new orders or major changes to current orders by issuing Program Directives"
3. Finalize the schedule for the program and ensure Critical Path management of the program throughout till Contract Closure.
4. Identify program risks and plan mitigation actions in consultation with CFT.
5. Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly and quarterly PMR review decks and present them in the various review forums
6. Monitor and review the financial parameters of the program and work with the cross functional team to ensure control of the costs and adherence to the Annual Operating Plans. Review program performance to the Business Case and the Profit and Loss Statement to the Annual Operating Plan.
7. Review the commercial proposals for Spares, AOGs, changes in existing scope of work etc prepared as per the program requirements
8. Support in conducting Program Management Reviews (PMR) as per defined frequency and Program Work Transition Gate Reviews in co-ordination with internal stakeholders at relevant program phases.
9. Develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Strategic
1. Ensure flow down of all program related contractual data from Customer and Business Development. such as Scope of Work (SoW), Purchase terms & Agreements to all stakeholders and provide feedback regarding inconsistencies/ additional requirements for completeness.
2. Understanding the requirements flown down from customer through purchase orders/contracts.
3. Plan the project along with operations team in terms of man, material, machinery."
4. Support in developing Integrated Master Schedule (IMS-Project Plan) in co-ordination with Customer requirements
5. Leading CFT, driving the project plan, track and report the progress to Management team and customer. Proactively identifying the issues / challenges , bringing them to management notice and seeking support in a timely manner. Provide inputs to the team for TOP improvement initiatives for the program.
6. Ensure adherence to the targets defined for the functional program KPIs identified.
7. Support Business development with new programs from existing customers
People Related
1. Handling grievances, ensuring safety compliance at the workplace. Motivating the team members, encouraging them to participate in different employee engagement activities
2. Conflict management in case of any concerns with the cross functional department
3. Cultural Awareness of Customer's environment
4. Skill improvement of the employees and ensuring the training needs for the team members are met. Tracking their attendance and training records and nominating based on the gaps identified
5. On the job guidance on both work related and behavioral activities
Administrative / Co-Ordination?
1. Coordinate customer visits and ensure Program Management Reviews (PMR) with regards to ongoing programs and provide presentations on updates and program management processes. This also includes coordinating with support function for hospitality of Customer.
2. Provide program updates for board review and top management review.
3. Co-ordinate with BD team and operations team for preparation of Bid vs Actuals data."
4. Effective customer interaction (Internal & External) to ensure that requirements are flown down, actions are captured effectively and resolution of all commercial queries with Customer. Maintain program Recurring Action Items List with Customer and internal team.
5. Participate in necessary program review meetings such as Morning Meetings, Change Implementation Board Meetings, Performance Review etc along with CFT team and external audits related to program management requirements.
6. Co-ordinate with internal logistics team/external logistics partner as reqd in case of any concerns with delivery/dispatch; Support Finance team for Offset requirements.
7. Track the availability of Export Licenses along with EXIM team.
