Manager Events & B2B Growth will lead Suraasas B2B expansion by driving strategic events, partnerships, and integrated marketing campaigns that connect with school leaders, policymakers, and higher education decision-makers.

This is a strategic and execution-heavy role, responsible for conceptualising, promoting, and monetising education events, conferences, and forums that generate high-quality leads and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The individual will be accountable for achieving a minimum 50x ROI through event-driven sales conversions.

Location: Hyderabad.

Key Accountability & Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

- Design an annual B2B marketing and events roadmap aligned with Suraasas sales and brand objectives.

- Identify key industry events, conferences, and leadership forums for participation or sponsorship.

- Conceptualise proprietary Suraasa-branded summits, roundtables, and leadership dialogues that enhance visibility and drive lead generation.

- Align events with broader brand and thought-leadership campaigns.

Event Management & Execution:

- Plan, budget, and execute national and international events, including venue selection, logistics, vendor management, and on-ground branding.

- Curate content themes, speaker panels, and session formats in collaboration with internal experts and partners.

- Ensure end-to-end lead capture, data tracking, and post-event conversion via CRM (HubSpot preferred).

- Own and track event ROI, ensuring every initiative translates into qualified leads and sales outcomes.

Marketing & Promotions:

- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, print, PR) to maximise participation and visibility for each event.

- Partner with the marketing team to design collaterals, videos, microsites, and social media campaigns that reinforce brand positioning.

- Ensure pre-event buzz and post-event amplification through media coverage, content marketing, and digital storytelling.

- Manage marketing budgets, media spends, and vendor relationships effectively.

- Leverage LinkedIn and industry networks for influencer marketing and targeted outreach.

Partnerships & Alliances:

- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with school associations, educational boards, and EdTech collaborators.

- Secure event sponsorships and co-branded opportunities with industry stakeholders.

- Represent Suraasa at events as a brand spokesperson and thought leader.

Revenue & ROI Ownership:

- Create measurable impact through lead generation, sales pipeline growth, and brand equity.

- Drive a minimum 50x ROI through event-driven business and partnerships.

- Analyse performance data to continuously optimise event, marketing, and sales alignment.

Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead a cross-functional team of event coordinators, marketing executives, designers, and external agencies.

- Work closely with Sales, Product, and Brand teams to align messaging and ensure seamless follow-up.

- Establish SOPs and scalable frameworks for B2B event marketing operations.

Sales & Strategy:

- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

- Build strong relationships with school leaders (principals, trustees, directors).

- Convert VPs event strategy in alignment with VP.

- Track pipeline health, maintain CRM dashboards, and report progress.

- Partner with the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding of schools.

- Deliver monthly / quarterly revenue targets through new and repeat business.

- Maintain a strong, predictable sales pipeline with quality leads at each stage.

- Continuously share competitive insights and customer feedback to improve offerings.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Number of events executed annually.

- Event participation and engagement metrics.

- Number of qualified B2B leads generated.

- 50x ROI through sales from leads generated.

- Partnership and sponsorship revenue achieved.

- Media coverage, brand reach, and digital impressions.
