Role Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for owning and driving the organisations business development strategy, generating new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and expanding market presence across key sectors and geographies. The role requires proven experience in sales/business development within the facility management or related sectors, strong digital marketing understanding, and the ability to deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Own, manage, and expand the business development pipeline across target industries.
- Generate new business leads through organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
- Drive vertical expansion in SCM, Warehousing, and Transportation service lines.
- Strengthen market penetration across Healthcare, Retail, Commercial Offices, Pharma, Auto, and other key sectors.
- Expand geographical footprint by generating leads across Pan India.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through consistent engagement and service excellence.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and expand scope within existing accounts.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Contribute to the development and execution of the organisations BD and revenue strategy.
- Collaborate with Bid/Proposal teams to create competitive proposals.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and demand forecasting.
- Track KPIs, sales metrics, and conversion ratios to improve funnel performance.
Digital Marketing & Brand Building
- Lead organisational digital marketing initiatives to improve brand visibility and lead generation.
- Design and implement social media strategies aligned with BD goals.
- Enhance digital presence through targeted campaigns and measurable outcomes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, marketing, finance, and leadership teams to ensure alignment on business strategies.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to support business pitches, presentations, and strategic conversations.
Required Skillsets
- Strong experience in sales/business development within the facility management, SCM, logistics, or related industries.
- Excellent understanding of SCM operations and industry best practices.
- Strong digital marketing and social media implementation knowledge.
- Proven ability to develop and manage BD pipelines and sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, forecasting ability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Solid relationship-building and client engagement capabilities.
- Conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence business strategy and align communication with commercial objectives.
Education:
- MBA and Bachelor's in sales and marketing
