
Designation : Business Head
Job Description :
The Business Head is a key position which is directly responsible for the implementation of the regional business road map for the category. The incumbent will play a critical and extremely tangible role in delivering results. You will be controlling the execution of all processes, including managing the supply chain from producer to exports.
Strategic Effectiveness :
Business Road Map : Contribute to the manufacturing sdesign and implementation of the business road map, as well as managing the procurement and supply chain strategy for the business
Goal Setting & Developing strategies: Development, review and refinement of the Category's business strategy, and execution of that strategy to obtain a leading 2 differentiated position in the marketplace thus supporting the overall organization goals
P&L Accountability and Business Growth: Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner for the category thus building a sustainable portfolio and also understand the level of profitability
Thought Leader & Strategic Partner: Provide high-level strategic and tactical leadership to the CEO and the management team
Risk Management: Strong financial acumen, data driven and ability to foresee potential risks and manage the same .
Brand Building: Building the brand and its awareness and resolving customer problems as needed
Operational Effectiveness :
Category/ Portfolio performance : Drive top-line, bottom-line with a clear focus on gaining market share
Change Agent: Support the implementation of change initiatives as per the business plan and derive maximum capacity efficiencies by eliminating controllable losses
External Liaising: Coordinate with appropriate regulatory bodies for obtaining permissions, and approvals
Regulatory: Complying with all applicable laws and regulations for the industry within the region
Manufacturing -Understanding to build manufacturing process optimization of cost and yield quality management system improving OTIF and building the (RFT)
Market Intelligence: Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities
Organizational Effectiveness
- Team Management - Build and Motivate a high performance, innovative and results-driven team
Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders involving formal business reviews and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives
Performance Management: Develop performance measurements and ensure these metrics are achieved. Monitoring/Assessing performance of self, and team to make improvements or take corrective action

Desired Profile :
- Excellent knowledge of the Agricultural landscape and applies the knowledge to strategize, plan and implement business decisions.
- Good understand of manufacturing process in agri & Food processing
- Good knowledge of Agri and Food Industry, competitors in the market and applies this knowledge to drive business strategies.
- Good knowledge and application of business practices and procedures related to planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, allocation, and procurement of resources, budget and contracts to ensure fiscal stability and growth of the business.
- Relevant experience in Agricultural Commodity sourcing, manufacturing operations, end to end supply chain management
- Proven Communication skills
- Result oriented Negotiation skills
- Extremely good at data analysis and presentation
- Good interpersonal skills
Education : MBA from reputed B-School
Experience : 15-20 years
