Education Qualifications:

- B.E. / B. Tech is mandatory.

Experience:

- At least 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in Strategic Procurement / Service Procurement / Indirect Procurement in the manufacturing industry.

Preferred Industry:

- Candidates with strong Service / Indirect Procurement experience in automotive manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Working Days:

- 5.5 days (any 2 Saturdays in a month would be working).

Purpose of the JOB:

- Lead strategic sourcing and end-to-end procurement of high-value plant services, engineering services, facility services and R&D procurement requirements for tyre manufacturing operations.

- The role will ensure competitive cost, service continuity, technical compliance, safety, quality, statutory compliance and timely contracting, while creating sustainable value through category strategies, competitive bidding, supplier development, contract governance and performance management.

- The position will have a strong focus on Service Procurement rather than routine material buying, covering plant maintenance and O&M services, AMC contracts, manpower contracts, Facility & General Services (FGS), RMS-related services/contracts, engineering/project services, utilities and other plant indirect spends, along with R&D services such as testing, validation, calibration, certification and specialized technical services relevant to tyre development and manufacturing.

Positioning of the Role:

- This is a strategic category-management role with primary accountability for Service Procurement and high-value plant indirect spend.

- The position is expected to move beyond transactional buying and create measurable business value through category strategy, competitive sourcing, contract governance, supplier performance, cost transformation and risk mitigation.
