Job Title: Trainee Company Secretary

Job Summary:
You will work closely with the senior compliance / legal team to handle secretarial and regulatory tasks, with a focus on AIF compliance, SEBI filings, GIFT City / IFSC regulatory obligations, and corporate governance matters.
This is a learning role intended to build foundational strength in fund / securities compliance and governance in a dynamic asset management environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and filing documents under SEBI (AIF) Regulations for Category I, II, and III funds.
- Support statutory and regulatory filings with SEBI, IFSCA, ROC, and MCA.
- Maintain statutory registers, minute books, and company records as per Companies Act, 2013.
- Draft board meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Monitor legal and regulatory updates related to AIFs and assist in implementing compliance changes.
- Support audits, due diligence, and coordination with external legal and audit teams.
- Assist in preparing investor reports, disclosures, and compliance documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams like operations, finance, and compliance for data and filings.
- Help in setting up new funds and ensuring compliance for GIFT City / IFSC operations.
- Perform any other secretarial, legal, or compliance tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
- CS Executive / CS Final pursuing or completed.
- 01 year of experience or undergoing CS training.
- Basic knowledge of SEBI AIF Regulations and Companies Act, 2013.
- Good drafting, communication, and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn
