Role Overview:
State head would be responsible for min 1 GW of assets for designated state and would work closely with WIND Business head.
- Must be a strong technical acumen and have good exposure on multi technology wind farms with min 18 - 25 years' experience.
- Drive the performance of assets while improving MA and GA with primary focus on zeroing opportunity losses.
- Regular Coordination with concerned staff for routine O&M activities and other works at clusters/plants.
- Coordination with all the Dept./ wings at H.O., interfacing with plants, organizing details.
- Preparing, Processing, and monitoring the monthly budgets and coordinating for funds.
- Accountable for effective monitoring of Operation & Maintenance of Wind Plants.
- Develop the annual operating plan for the zone and responsible for-profit centre constantly to improve.
- Accountable for achieving the Integrated Management System Objectives and Targets.
- Reporting on the performance of the Integrated Management System to SBU Head / Wind O&M In-charge, Management Representative and Chief Information Security Officer.
- Root Cause Analysis/ investigation of failures, corrective measures.
Position Qualifications:
- Should be a Masters/Graduate holder in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with min 18 - 25 years of experience in wind industry.
- Core competencies on WTG & BOP operations & maintenance.
- Good understanding of wind plant operation and contractual arrangements.
- Experience in managing portfolios of wind farm assets, developing productive partnerships, and staying attuned to industry trends and developments.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Keen multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to extensive travelling
