Key Responsibilities:
- Accelerate customer penetration in existing markets by increasing transaction frequency on the platform; ensure seamless onboarding of new kirana,stores and activate dormant accounts to boost engagement.
- Maximize wallet share from existing customers, aiming to establish the platform as the market leaderacross both online and offline channels.
- Lead city-level demand and sourcing operations, ensuring smooth daily execution with a strong focus on consistent pricing, assortment, and availability tailored to market needs.
- Expand the product portfolio by introducing new categories (e.g.,grocery, fresh, dairy, cold chain) and adding local and regional brands to enhance margin profiles and customer value.
- Collaborate with internal supply chain teams to drive forward-looking demand and supply planning, maintaining a clear focus on profitability and efficiency metrics.
- Develop and institutionalize capabilities for new brand launches, ensuring rapid adoption and scale-up in target markets.
Required:
- An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has:
- Top B-school with 5-7 years of high-growth experience, preferably with exposure to both FMCG distribution and digital platforms.
- Strong execution orientation, with a focus on delivering measurable, outcome-driven results.
- Proven thought leadership in analyzing market demand signals and crafting long-term strategic initiatives.
- High enthusiasm for technology adoption; comfort with digital tools and data-driven decision- making.
- Advanced data handling and analytical skillswith the ability to dissect customer profiles and extract actionable insights.
- Strong first-principles thinking, coupled with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- A deep sense of purpose and fire in the belly to create meaningful impact transforming the lives of Kirana store owners and, through them, millions of consumers.
