Role Overview
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will drive sales of high-value, tailor-made process plants. You will lead a dynamic sales team, build strong client relationships, identify and develop new business opportunities, and manage the entire sales lifecycle to achieve business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Lead and manage sales operations for ZLD and industrial wastewater treatment systems
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across domestic and international markets
- Drive the complete B2B sales cycle: lead generation, technical discussions, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Project teams for customized solution proposals
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences
- Generate timely reports on sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts
- Mentor and coach junior sales team members for continuous improvement
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in consultative/solution-based selling of process plants or capital equipment
- Strong domain knowledge in water and wastewater treatment industry; ZLD knowledge preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and contract finalization abilities
- Self-motivated with strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a technical sales environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and exhibitions
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
- MBA in Marketing or Operations is an added advantage
