What are we looking for?:

Were seeking an experienced Deputy Manager / Manager Legal with strong expertise in corporate legal functions across India and the US.

This is a high-impact role that will work closely with leadership, business, product, and operations teams to build a legally sound foundation as Spyne scales globally.

What you will do?:

- Contracts & Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and SLAs.

- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws in India and the US, including data privacy, employment laws, and corporate governance.

- Advisory: Partner with business teams to provide proactive legal support on strategic initiatives, product launches, and international expansion.

- Policy & Documentation: Develop internal legal policies, templates, and best practices to streamline operations.

- Disputes & Risk: Handle legal notices, coordinate with external counsel on litigation matters, and mitigate legal risks effectively.

- Cross-border Structuring: Support legal structuring and compliance for cross-border operations, partnerships, and contracts, especially in the US market.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and functional heads to enable business growth while safeguarding legal interests.

What will make you successful:

- 5+ years of experience in corporate legal roles, ideally in a tech / SaaS / startup environment.

- Strong exposure to both Indian and US legal frameworks.

- Proven ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts end-to-end.

- Experience handling regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and policy implementation.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple stakeholders.

- Law degree (LL.B); LL.Mis a plus.
